@Jason Kravitz: Untold numbers me included ! If you look closely the bottom two foot holes have been worn into vertical slots. Stanton Moor itself is rich in archaeology dating to the early Bronze age, 3000 BC, making this a truly ancient landscape steeped in human history and the stories we can only wonder.
